Heeled Shoes and Macaroons

Hello to you all and a hearty welcome.. Yes, I am aware this is a famous Miranda quote but I am madly in love with her so you may as well get used to random quotes of hers popping up frequently from the off.

I feel I may as well start my first post explaining the title of my blog. Heeled shoes and Macaroons are two of my most favorite things in the world. Yes, really.
I am a girl of an average height with slight curves and chunky thighs. I wasn't blessed with ridiculously 'skinny Victoria Beckham like legs' so I often resort to the Stiletto to help give the illusion of this. It's a good tip, one all girls like me should take on board. Check out my Heel Pinterest board , I'm sure you can now understand what I mean by 'Heel Heaven'.
Make sure you follow my blog because there will definitely be many posts to come about my on-going shoe collection.

Now onto Macaroons. Not only are they ridiculously cute, colourful and a taste of sensation but I have finally, after a few failed attempts, perfected baking these little beauty's. I first discovered these a few years ago when they became fashionable to have at weddings rather than the traditional cupcakes. I was lucky enough to try a few and from the off I was in love. I often treat myself to a box of 6 from Macarons & more in Norwich, a lovely little shop that bakes them all on site. A variety of flavours ranging from Ginger, Lavender & Rose to Lemon, Mince Pie and Espresso. Every bite is a taste of pure bliss - they are 100% my weakness. So you can only imagine how excited I was when I walked into a Boulangerie/pattiserie/chocolatier in Paris that had the most decidant display of macaroons I have ever seen. (bull in a china shop comes to mind!)

So there it is, a little about my blogs title. I am extremely looking forward to getting my teeth stuck into this blog on a much more permanent basis than before. It will be jam packed with foody posts, fashion finds and some travelling experiences.

For now, Goodnight! And I will be back very soon, thanks for reading.
